Siegelord-A Browser-based SLG Worth Playing

Siegelord is a free to play browser-based SLG published by 37Games in December last year. Before I started to play Siegelord, my friends warned me "never play such f2p because you may drop into the trap for recharging continuously, freemium is never free even if you are willing to be just a free member". To test his words, I started my journey to Siegelord. 

It turns out that I reached lvl61 so far without spending even a cent. You may take an ironic view like "Wow, you are amazing" but the fact is really just what I experienced. I joined the Albion faction since siegelord is all about the battle among Three kingdoms. I fight with all the Albion members in the faction war that will be released at 10 O'clock every day and enjoy the triumph together. I am in favor of fighting and celebrating the achievements as a team since teamwork is also rather important in the real world learning and working. 

Not every time our team achieved success. I still remember we only have 18 generals and we lost that day. You can read my previous blog of Lost in the Siegelord Faction War-Lacking in Allies to know about my feelings then.

For the game itself, it's successful no matter in graphics or in the tasks design. Each time I entered this game, I have something to pursuit, you know. For example, if I reached lvl63, the "Campaign" will be unlocked through which I can get all my treasure back. Getting the treasure back attracts me a lot  and no wonder the motivation of upgrading was generated. 

Although I didn't recharge any on this game but maybe i will do later since I think siegelord is really a game worth playing which i would never mean to throw money into. Moreover, there are always events for you acquiring the free resource held by siegelord operating team like the recent super bowl activity as well as the code giveaways on mmosite, onrpg and mmorpg etc. The packages included in the code listed on these sites this time are the same so even though you acquired three codes but only one can take effect. When you try to enter the other two, you will get the error hint.

Marriage System of Shifu from 37Games was Updated Today

The marriage system of Shifu will be unlocked after you reached 1R Lv65. Players can post the personal information in the marriage panel and check other players personals' then make a proposal after finding "the one". 

Proposal introduction 

A. There must be wedding rings in your bag. 

B. Each Player can only make one proposal to his/her friend after their intimacy ranked 3.

C. Players will be in a marriage after the proposal was accepted.

Wedding

A. Players who are in a marriage can hold either ordinary wedding, luxurious wedding or grand wedding. 

B. Players can attend the wedding and bring gifts to the newly married couple.

C. Players who sent gift will gain an EXP bonus buff. 

Couple Skills

A. Ordinary Wedding: 150% EXP from Blitz (5 hours) 

B. Luxurious Wedding: 250% EXP from Blitz (5 hours) 

C. Grand Wedding: 500% EXP from Blitz (5 hours)

D. The EXP and soul of who held the wedding will be increased. 

E. There's no time limit in holding a wedding but only one couple is allowed to celebrate their marriage each time.

Couples have the right to end their relationship by divorcing. But be cautious. 

A. You have the option of divorcing by agreement and mandatory divorce. The former one  reduces intimacy of 20% and the latter clears all the intimacy.

B. Wedding Rings will disappear after divorced.

C. Couple skills will also become unavailable.

Lost in the Siegelord Faction War-Lacking in Allies

We only has 18 generals while 288 generals of our rival entered the war. 18 VS 288, How can we win? Players of our rival faction are so united but where is our army? Fellow generals, are you just sleeping and let the enemy invade and occupy our faction indiscriminately? As predicted at the very first, we lost in today's faction war because of lacking in allies but we still have chances to restore our faction as long as we rallied an organized union. It's not the end, isn't it? 

This condition just reminded me of the ancient battles between countries. What determine the success or failure of a war? They are the climate, geographical and human conditions. The climate and geographical condition are objective matters beyond our control but we can avoid the disadvantages if we properly applied the tactic. 

Whereas, the human conditions in my opinion is the most decisive factor that is totally within control. The martial spirit will be roused greatly as well as the soldiers' competitive competence will be strengthened accordingly if the army is harmonious and well-organized.  

On the contrary, if you are the general who would build afresh and infuse your soldiers with renewed confidence, the whole battle tactics will be different which can generate a different battle result under a condition that combat equipment of the both side are grudge.
