37Games, an online browser game platform, announced earlier today a new browser-based adventure game, Dragon Atlas which combines MMORPG and Sim elements. The game will be released soon and published exclusively by 37Games in North America. Below is a brief introduction to this exciting adventure:
The Dragon Atlas story begins in the mystery world of “Ymir” a land that was once called “peaceful”. Now order must be restored while each hero faces unique dungeons and quests, where infinite treasures await. It will not be easy to capture all these great treasures, but those that are brave and willing stand a chance.
Those who have survived long enough to keep the world alive reside in Dragontongue City. On one side of the city, dragons were fighting each other for centuries, but then suddenly the war ended when the rainbow bridge reappears in the sky. A truce was called between the three factions when they created an organization, the “Blue Crusaders” to prevent crisis.
Although all of human kind has the same ultimate goals, they are now deceived by an evil dragon. This divided them into three battle-worn kingdoms, each supported by their own epic dragon: the Alliance of Order is supported by Isis, the Radiance Church is supported by Pelor and the Academy of Truth is supported by Ain.
Game feature
1. Semi real time battles
In battles, players don’t have to control characters’ movement, all they have to do is to use the right skill at the right time and try the best to make the skill combo.
2. Tactics—-Skill combo!
Choose the right mercenaries with the most powerful combo skills and bring them to battle.
Place the skills in the skill bar and use them at the right time.
Hit the target with a “Chain” mark to enable the combo skills.
3. No more boring grinding!
The chest of decision: you can only take one of the treasures.
Boss chest: only opens when players defeat the Boss of the instance.
Lever: the path to the secret treasures will be open by players.
Stele: light the stele to discover the secret in the level.
Floor switch: players should find a stone and put on it in order to open a gate.
Abyss gate: Bosses will bring the key to the gate with them.
