Something about Browser Games

I believe deeply there are someone as me of several year ago wondering what pleasure on earth we can acquire from the browser based games. It seems that when you play such free 2 play games, what you only to do is continuously replenish resources. Since these games have no fun, no connotation ,why there are still incredibly huge accessibility to them?

We need to ask ourselves, what we actually want in a browser game? What's the attraction that made us rush into them then don't want to let them go to play day after day?

I remember there are other fellow player once confirmed that one of the deciding factors of what games they choose to and not to play is based loosely off of the amount of depth in the game. Quite right, the depth. If there is no goal to strive for is frustrating. If the goal is worthy pursuing, who wouldn't you throw money into game?

Nowadays, so many browser games take the similar story, similar play strategy, similar characters and even the occasion elements are copied. There was no cosmetic changes or cool sound effects that could be purchased for a small handful of money. If the game developer know deeply about what player are really pursuing, their work should center on how to make the game different.

I have always been a very firm believer in that if you make your game the best as you possibly can, the money you want from that product will follow it.

To browser-based game players: If you want to play the more sophisticated games, please don't  pay for rubbish even for a cent.

To browser-based game developer: If you want to stand out in game industry, please develop games of high quality, at least  of origin.

  1. Hear hear. This is certainly true for so many browser games. They are created for players who don't seek permanent gameplay as in classic games but only for a couple of minutes every day during lunch break maybe.
