It's very important to create a game community where you can update the game news, event and your players can also report bugs or communicate the gaming experience.
Ten- Submit the press release
It's far more enough to post news in the community. You need to target your news readers widely. Let the press release websites to distribute your news sounds nice. Such as gamepress. Once you submit game new valuable on gamepress, other game website will pick to print to their own websites.

One thing i do is i write comments in blogs. It is not working very well and i am usually reading initial post first to make my comment related. So i was actually promoting Virtonomics here. Also what can you do?: Create events in the game and share it on Facebook, twitter and such social places. You should do it regularly. Also you can write on related forum (using link to the game as ur signature) and create special topic there about your game. After all when it comes to promoting something, first thing you have to do is to make sure you promoting a good thing. Improve your product quality, make events and tell people about it. Good luck!
