37Games-New Star in Game Industry

When come to video games, the first companies burst out from our memory are Sony, Steam, Ubisoft, Microsoft and Blizzard. Does anybody has ever noticed that there is a new game company named 37Games thriving in the whole game industry in the past 2014.

37Games is a Chinese browser game company established in 2011. With only four years, 37Games has a team of 1600 employees. When 37Games was mentioned, people in China, Thailand, South Korea and Singapore are strange to this company because 37Games in Asia has thriving business. From 2014, 37Games has been dedicating to expand its market to Europe and America. So far, there are seven games published on the English platform of 37Games. Games like Chibi Warriors, Shifu and Siegelord are especially popular there. 

Another browser game named"Nightfalls" will be soon released by 37Games. It is said that 37Games intend to be "the Blizzard in browser game industry". Will this prediction be true? Let's  wait and see what will happen. 

Another question is will 37Games be a threat to the famous video game companies? It would be, i think. Although it's not necessary that the client game players would probably like browser games, out of the easy accessibility, charging free and suitability to people of all ages, there is great possibility that the client game players would shift to play browser games. The develop and grow of 37Games just proved that playing browser game is a trend. 

You may argue that browser games never charge free. You are definitely. After all, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Most browser games are those free to play games, which means you have free access to games. If you need the value-added services in the game, you need to pay. Take Plant VS Zombie for example, I past all the level of this game without spending a cent. However, my friend spending dollars on the diamond because he think it's more easy and fast for him to finish this game. He can afford and he wants to then he spends. If you don't have the cost necessity, the game is totally free for you. On the contrary, it's costly. 

On the other hand, playing games is a way of relaxing. No one will claim that spending money on releasing yourself is a fault. The purpose you earn money is to make your life better, no wonder there are so many people recharge on browser game. 37Games just read  people's mind well, why not it be successful? What strategy that 37Games- the new star in game industry- will take in 2015?
